We have a nice selection of Black Hills rocks & minerals including South Dakota Rose Quartz, Teepee Canyon Agate, Elk Creek Barite, Homestake Mine specimens, as well as other gems and minerals from the USA and elsewhere, and a small hand-picked selection of top quality rough lapidary rock, slabs, preforms, cuts, etc.  My son has several mining claims in the western USA for gems, minerals, lapidary materials etc., and he also sells specimens and rough on his Etsy page Dominion Gems as well as traveling frequently for prospecting, gem & mineral exploration and mining projects, gem and mineral shows, and buying/selling/trading.  

We have as small display of numerous rock and mineral specimens from Chris and Will at the gallery.  All of the high-end gem and mineral inventory is NOT on display (kept in the bank for security and insurance purposes) but we can  arrange for higher-end gems and specimens on the Dominion Gems website to be retrieved from the bank vault for viewing by appointment at the Gallery.  You can also check Chris' Etsy page from time to time for other items.

 While we sold our family's Dominion Opal Mines group in Virgin Valley Nevada in late 2022 so we could focus on things closer to home, Chris still consults regarding the opals, mining, claims, and history of Virgin Valley and occasionally visits and stakes new claims there when old claims expire or ground comes open, offering a few mines or claims for sale once in a while.  If you want a mine or mining claim in Virgin Valley you should get ahold of him on the Dominion Gems website or his Etsy page.
